What do we do if it’s raining during our session?

If, in the opinion of the Photographer, inclement weather or other adverse conditions prevent the creation of a successful session to the artistic standards of Photographer, Photographer may elect to use an alternate location or to reschedule the session. Photographer will notify the Client at least 12 hours for morning sessions and 4 hours in advance for afternoon/evening session and will base the decision off of local weather forecasts. Photographer's policy is that if it is a 60% chance of rain or more, the session will be rescheduled; UNLESS, client chooses to go forward with session and work with photographer to find optional covered areas. If the chance of rain is less than 60%, Photographer will leave it up to the Client to decide whether to reschedule and Photographer will inform Client of the implications of shooting in light rain or inclement weather.

When rescheduling Audrey Darke Photography will give clients her next availability and allow the client to choose from the dates/times at no rescheduling fee. If client is unavailable for Audrey Darke Photography next available dates/times a credit will be issued to be used when client and Audrey Darke Photography is next available. Credit must be used within one year of it being issued.

How long until we can expect to see our photos from our session?

My turn around time is 2-4 weeks. It just depends on how busy I am!

How long is our gallery online?

Your online gallery will be available to you all for 3 months. Once it is close to expiring you will receive emails reminding you to make sure you have them downloaded. If you wish to have it reopened after it expires there is an unarchiving fee.

For mini and small sessions what is the cost to purchase the entire gallery over what is included in our package?

It is $150.00 to purchase the full mini and small photo galleries.

How far out do you book family sessions?

I open my books for family sessions 4 months out from desired session date.

When would you recommend booking family photos?

If you are interested in a summer session (May-August) I recommend booking as soon as I open my books 4 months out as I book up fast; however, if you are looking at more off season times you can typically get away with booking 2-4 weeks out.

When do sessions typically start?

Sunset sessions they start 30/45/60 minutes before sunset.

Sunrise sessions they start at the designated sunrise time for that day.

Morning sessions they take place between 7 and 9 AM.

Is the retainer refundable?

The retainer is a non-refundable 50%  to reserve the time/date requested. The 50% is part of the total cost listed on the pricing page.

Do holiday and holiday weekend sessions cost more?

Yes, there is a 25% surcharge for any sessions taking place on a holiday or holiday weekend.

Ex. If you want to do a session on Memorial/Labor Day weekend or if Christmas (and other holidays) fall on a Friday or Monday making it a long weekend the fee would be incurred.

How do you accept payment?

Is there cost involved with travel?

For mini + small sessions, travel fees to all select locations is included.

For extended and full sessions travel along the coast of Panama City Beach and Pensacola Beach is covered; however, if you wish for photos to take place outside of that radius it is a $50 travel fee plus gas mileage is charged at 59 cents per mile outside of the included travel between PCB and Pensacola Beach in accordance with the 2022 IRS decision.

For destination family sessions travel includes, but is not limited too, air fare, car rentals, accommodations and meals.

Do your prices include taxes?

Yes they do! My prices are a flat rate with no hidden fees.

Do you retain all copyright? Does that mean we can’t share the photos?

The Client shall only use the prints, including digital files IF DIGITAL FILES APPLIES.  The Client’s prints are for personal use only and shall not be submitted to contests, reproduced for commercial use or authorize any reproductions by parties other than the photographer. 

The Client may share blog post links, Instagram posts, and Facebook albums though use of the share functions and dissemination of direct links, or in any other fashion the photographer provides. Client shall not copy, screenshot, or capture the photographs in any other fashion (ex. Saving or screen shotting on Facebook/Instagram). Client must credit/tag Audrey Darke Photogrpahy in any posts or shares of their own.

Can we have the unedited images or RAW’s from our shoot?

No, I do not give my clients RAW or unedited images.

Do you post everything online?

All the fully edited images that are up to Audrey Darke Photography standards will be uploaded to the online gallery which will then be emailed to the client.

What is your equipment?

I shoot with my Canon 5D Mark III and my second/back up camera is the same.

Can I bring bring my dog? Can we bring props?

Of course! I would be a little sad if you didn’t bring your dog. However, please keep in mind dogs are not allowed on the beach along the gulf coast with the exception of a few dog beaches located in PCB and Pensacola Beach.

With props think outside of the box! Blankets, sparkling water to pop, musical instruments, bubbles and hats are some fun ones my clients have brought in the past!

Do you have any recommendations for locations?

Don't worry I got you! I have an entire list of great locations that you can pick from that are divided up into what you are going for (beach, city, etc)! You will get exclusive access to this list once booked!

Will you swap out B&W photos for color?

For mini sessions, unless the entire gallery is purchased there is not the option to swap photos.

For full sessions, there is the option to swap out photos if requested within 5 days of gallery delivery.
