I am a destination wedding, elopement & family photographer based in Destin, Florida. I am originally from the small college town of Lexington, Kentucky, but before long my family moved to Toronto, Canada. My most vivid memory from living there is being able to walk into our backyard and straight onto my neighbor’s ice rink, much better than any indoor ice rink I have come across. Fast forward a handful of years, we moved to Nashville where I finished up elementary school and attended high school. I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in the spring of 2020 and I majored in marketing with a concentration in entrepreneurship.
I am an avid reader, traveler, and learner. You can never go wrong with a cup of coffee and a good book. My cat, Finn, will take rare breaks in his energetic day to curl up with me – he is good company!
my family philosophy.
I look past the obvious and my favorite things to shoot seem simple, but hold more meaning than at first glance - hands intertwined, little toes as they sit in the sand, the loving looks parents give their children. These are things that we overlook so easily or are in quick passing.
When you look through my images, I want them to make you think - Wow, I didn’t even realize this was happening around me when she shot this. Those are the moments that are most precious: the ones we didn’t even realize were happening. This is the storyteller I want to be. I value all my clients and my goal is for them to feel confident and comfortable in front of my lens. I will bring an element of ease and thoughtfulness to being your family photographer that no one else can. When you invest in me you are not only investing in a photographer, but also in someone who truly wants to celebrate your family with you as your friend. I do not see you as a “client”; rather, I see myself as the person lucky enough to be invited to participate in some of the most important and intimate moments of your life. I honor the trust you have in me, which is why I leave every shoot knowing that both of us have gained a friend worth capturing every moment with.

- large parking lot, but does get full in the summer and may require parking in the grass
henderson beach state park
located in central Destin
- gets busy during sunset in the summer
- they do close the park if they reach max capacity

- does require a little bit of a walk from parking area
- limited parking so fills up fast in the summer

dunes beach
located between Destin and Fort Walton Beach
- requires parking in a sand pull off on the side of highway 98
*requires a free permit per person over the age of 16*
